Kindergarten (SSU)

Kindergarten is possibly the most important phase of your child’s learning – it is their first introduction to the school environment and therefore, it is vital that the experience be a positive one to set the foundation for future learning.

 

Your child will be introduced to a rich multicultural mix of local and international students, with a strong emphasis on learning English language skills from an early age.

 

The SSU Kindergarten Curriculum includes:

  • English
  • Bahasa Melayu Malayu
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • Mandarin
  • Music
  • Physical Education
  • Islamic Studies / Moral
  • Handwriting
  • Reading & Spelling
  • Computer Skills
  • Reading & Listening Skills

For Kindergarten, all non-Malay Language subjects are taught in English.
Courses are offered if there are more that 15 students in a class and are subject to teacher availability
