SRI UTAMA SCHOOLS
Sri Utama Schools is known to be one of the first schools in Kuala Lumpur that allows their International School, Utama International School (UIS) with its sister school, Sekolah Sri Utama – a National School on the same school grounds.
The combination of the International schools, Utama International School (UIS) and the National schools, Sekolah Sri Utama (SSU) ¬are known as SRI UTAMA SCHOOLS.
The colours Maroon signifies the International School, Utama International School where as the Dark Green represents the National School, Sekolah Sri Utama. Hence, the combination of both colours define the synergy of both the different schools united.
Sekolah Sri Utama (SSU) Kuala Lumpur & Johor Bahru
Sekolah Sri Utama (SSU) was established in Kuala Lumpur on 1st December 1993, offering the Malaysian curriculum as in the National Education Policy with 139 students and 10 teachers.
Sekolah Sri Utama benefited by incorporating 7 international subjects taught in English ( Mathematics, Science, Health Education, Computer, Library and Additional English) along with the National subjects.
In the same month of December, Sekolah Sri Utama Johor Bahru opened its doors to the public with only 6 students and was one of the first private schools to operate in Johor Bahru.
Utama International School (UIS)
Utama International School began on the 1st September 1994, offering Kindergarten, Primary and Secondary school that offered London Examination Board Curriculum.
In 2003, the Utama International School (UIS) Johor Bahru was established. The influx of local Malaysian students joining International gained momentum in 2006, when the Malaysian Government opened the quota allowing local students to join the International schools.
SRI UTAMA SCHOOLS KUALA TERENGGANU
In 2008, the third branch was established in Kuala Terengganu. Here Sri Utama Schools set up its first Prep School catering for children from 2 to 4 years old. Now, it offers children up to 12 years old in Year 6.
