Lion Dance in conjunction with Chinese New Year Celebration – 22 February 2013 |

In conjunction with the Chinese New Year Celebration, Sri Utama Schools invited a team of Lion and Dragon dancers for a spectacular performance show within the school grounds. The students were amazed with the performance they put up. Some of the students got lucky by given chocolates and candy, some got to touch and feel the lions and dragon. We hope that the lion and dragon dance ,believed to bring good luck and fortune, would boost up our school year with much more joy and happiness!

1st Fire Drill – 29 January 2013 |

The first fire drill for year 2013 was held as a practice for all students and staffs evacuating the school building in the case of a fire or other emergencies. The event was a success with all students; kindergarten, primary and secondary with the teachers evacuating the buildings in the time allocated. The Fire Brigade team did a great demonstration on how to use the fire extinguisher and how to be react during a fire. Several teachers and students got the opportunity to experience putting out a fire.

2013 Graduation and Prom Night – 1 March 2013 |

|
Graduation is a very important and looked-forward-to event for students in Form 5. It is the night they officially complete their high school years and begin their journey as a young adult continuing further studies or joining the workforce. As the graduates move towards their next milestone in their lives, we celebrated their success and wish them well for their bright futures. This is always an emotional yet happy occasion for our students as they say good bye to favourite teachers and classmates. The night involved a graduation procession, fulfilling dinner and celebratory dance; and was held at the Double Tree Hotel, Kuala Lumpur.

Solat Hajat for UPSR, PMR & SPM 2012 Candidates |

On the night of 7th September, a special prayer was held by the school for all the candidates of UPSR, PMR & SPM. Muslim students along with their parents arrived school grounds just before Maghrib. Not long after, the reciting of the Ya’sin and solat hajat were among of the prayers carried out. The main objective of the night was to receive blessings and guidance from the almighty, God. At 8.45pm, a buffet dinner was held. Delicious food and sweet desserts were served.
