As a tradition, a concert is fiefd every year 6y our teachers and students. It is a memoraSfe and unforgettaSfe occasion. This year the concert was he[d on 13 th June 2009. The theme for our this year concert was "The 'King, Prince and I".

"The 'King, Prince and I" is about the king of Siam who has a son that has to succeed to his throne. The prince speaks very fittfe Engfish, so the fang hires a tutor from England, 6y placing an advertisement. On the other hand, the minister is not happy with the king's pfan as he himseff wants to taf{e over the throne. So he finds a way to stop the two sisters from coming to Siam. However, the sisters have their own way. Later, when J4nnie goes into a nearSy forest, she meets the prince white he is practising martiaCarts. 'What more, they take a filing to each other.

Soon, Anna begins teaching English to the king's chiCdren. They have a lot of fun. She then decides to take them on a field trip because they don't know much about the outside worfd. 'Meanwhile, the king organizes a party for his son to select a princess for him.

Guests arrive from all around the worfd for this formal function. But the prince is not happy as he has afready chosen his bride. At this juncture, the minister tries to disrupt the party. But his attempt ends in a faifure and a battfe ensues. The minister is defeated and a grand celebration follows

The concert started at about 3pm after the traditional wefcome speech by the school chairman, Encik Hassan Md Ali. The script was written by Mrs Jaswinder Singh.

There were various performances displayed by the students of Sri Utama Schoocls. They included the Ballroom Dance, Animal Dance, Evil Spirit (girls), Evil Minister ((Boys) and Market People's Dance.

At the end of the show, the best actor, actress and dancers were awarded for their mesmerizing performances. The best actor award went to Iqmal Radzi Rosfi of F4T. Tiara Goodier of F4T'was accfaimed the best actress. However, the prize for the best dance group went to the Korean Dancers. This was an exciting and memorable occasion.

The school concert ended with the school extending its special thanks to the teachers, main cast, committee members, students, parents and the sponsors for making this a wonderful occasion.
