The event was held on the 1 7th of July, 2009 at Patio A. The event got started with the MC, Puan Rosemiah, welcoming the students, parents and teachers. Next, the head prefect of the Primary School, Nadya Prasteyo, delivered her speech. This was followed by a speech by the Secondary Head Prefect, Ahmed Zaki. The chairman of Sri Utama Schools, Encik Hassan Md. Ali, then gave his speech.
After that, the primary school students received their prizes. En. Hassan and Puan Jamaliah gave away their prizes. The recipient of the Principal's Award was Nadya Prasteyo. Then the Secondary School prize-giving ceremony followed. The event ended with the singing of the school song and 'Negaraku' at 10.30 a.m.
