UIS Prize Giving Ceremony 2010 |

This year the UIS prize giving ceremony was held on the 16th of July. This event marked the end of the last term for the UIS students. At the end of three terms, the students are rewarded for their diligence as well ability to excel both in academics as well as in extramural activities. This year the event was kicked off with a parade from the primary students who displayed the rich cultural and multinational heritage of the school. This was followed by speeches from the Head Prefects of the primary and secondary schools . The principal, Encik Fawzi said a few words of encouragement and praise before proceeding with the ceremony. Soon, it was time for the performances to lighten up the atmosphere. Both primary and secondary students took centre stage with their various dances. Their entertaining music lightened the mood of the audience. The students were then presented with their certificates for all the effort that they had put in throughout the academic year. This exciting event ended at approximately 10.30a.m.
