ALUMNI AND GRADUATION NIGHT 2011

Sri Utama Schools held its Alumni and Graduation Night 2011 at The Royale Chulan Hotel, Kuala Lumpur on the 25 February 2011, form 7:00pm to 12:30am. The ceremony was attended by our distinguished guest, Tan Sri Dato’ Napsiah Omar, Chairman of Sri Utama Schools Y. Berusaha En. Hassan Mohd. Ali, Our beloved principal, Y. Berusaha  En. Fawzi Abd. Karim, along with other VVIP and VIP guests from the Ministry or Education and others.

This year Sri Utama Schools received an overwhelming response from guests and graduates attending this special occasion which is held only once a year. Students  gather and meet old and new friends. The banquet hall was packed with 38 tables accounted to 380 guests, teachers and students and staff.

The traditional, soothing ‘Gamelan” music filled the air, while teachers and students held their breath in anticipation, on the arrival of the Honourable Guest along with the VVIP and VIP guests. Thus, the occasion started with the formal ceremony the procession of the graduates and teachers, presentation of scrolls and certificates for the ‘UPSR’, ‘PMR’, ‘SPM’ and the GCE ‘O’ Level graduates.

After the official ceremony all present were treated with a seven course Chinese dinner while being entertained with teachers and Filipino Band(Los Oliveara), followed by the student programme which include the selection of “Best Dressed Male and Female”. The Alumni and Graduation Night ended at 12:30am.
